Online Business Degree
Business Management degree now features an all-online option
Students enrolling in Nicolet College’s Business Management program now have the option of completing the associate degree entirely online with classes starting this fall.
“This gives students the opportunity to complete the coursework at times that are most convenient for them,” said Nicolet College Dean of Business Emily Stuckenbruck. “Many students have jobs, they have families, and an online program like this is the best way for them to earn the college credential that is going to help them get ahead in life.”
The program also features a credit for prior learning component where students already working in the business field could test out of classes and receive college credits for what they’ve learned on the job.
“This can save students both time and money,” Stuckenbruck explained. “It’s all about having the right set of skills, and if a student already has certain skills, we’re happy to give them college credit for what they already know.”
Classes include several on Microsoft Office software, Business Marketing, Survey of Accounting, Written Communication, Supervisory Management, and many others.
Students who have taken any of the required classes at other colleges may also be able to transfer these credits to Nicolet, depending on the college the student previously attended.
Nicolet’s Business Management program is also available on a part-time basis, giving students the option to take just one or a few classes at a time as they complete the 63-credit associate degree.
Those who graduated from the program in 2016 reported an annual median salary of $27,040 within six months of graduation and 100 percent of those responding to the Graduate Follow-up Survey reported they were satisfied or very satisfied with the program.
“It’s important to note that salary typically increases with experience and the Business Management degree is a great way for graduates to get their foot in the door and go on to have a successful career in business,” Stuckenbruck said.
Nicolet also has credit transfer agreements with 20 four-year colleges and universities for students to continue their education and earn a bachelor’s degree.
