Nicolet Live! presents an Evening with: Paco Falick and Friends on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Nicolet College Theatre. Ojibwe singer/songwriter Paco Fralick brings his unique blend of Native American, folk, country and pop to audiences and will share his debut album, Letting Go. Fralick collaborated with other musicians on his first album and will entertain audiences with an evening of musical storytelling. The northern Wisconsin native spent 30 years writing compelling, thought-provoking lyrics about subjects close to his heart making this an intensely personal album. “Music has been many things to me and continues to evolve as I do, but one thing it has always been is healing. My hope is to extend that same healing through my music,” says Fralick.

“Under the Moonlight,” Fralick’s newest release featured on the Letting Go album, is currently nominated for “Best Song” in the rock and blues category for the 2017 Native Trailblazers Music Awards. Native Trailblazers is an online radio show that promotes indie artists across North America.

Fralick’s eclectic musical style and thematic lyrics resonate with audiences of all ages because of the wide-range of inter-generational topics he sings about including alcoholism, environmental activism and homelessness. “It’s a blend of all the people who have shaped me, all of my experiences, and all that I am and hope to be,” says Fralick.

The one-of-a-kind acoustic guitar sound on Fralick’s album is complimented by a diverse variety of instruments including Native flute, a string quartet, traditional and contemporary percussion, electric sitar, harmonica, dobro, B3 organ, fiddle, mandolin and other instruments. The Nicolet Live! performance is sure to be a feast for your ears as Fralick and his friends will delight audiences with a concert filled with a range of musical styles, sounds and lyrical subjects.

The concert takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Beer and wine will be available at Bytes next to the theatre before the performance. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at or by calling (715) 365-4646.
