Tonic Sol-fa is back to perform at Nicolet on August 23
The Emmy Award-winning a cappella group Tonic Sol-fa returns to Nicolet College on Wednesday, August 23 at 7:30 pm. The group showcased its exquisite harmonies and original arrangements in a Nicolet Live! performance last October.
The Minneapolis-based quartet performs about 100 concerts a year across 48 states and has toured internationally. The New York Times described Tonic Sol-fa as “a vocal kaleidoscope, unique to the human voice.”
Along with their concerts, the group has performed numerous times on national television, including on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, NBC’s Today Show, and on PBS. They’ve also performed for U.S. presidents and shared the stage with the likes of Garrison Keillor, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Jeff Foxworthy, Weird Al Yankovic, Bryan White, and Neal McCoy.
Their performance include originals arrangements along with familiar pop and gospel tunes all sung with contagious energy.
The concert will be held in the Nicolet College Theatre located in the Lakeside Center at Nicolet College. Wine, beer, and other refreshments will be available.
