Graduate success on the licensure exam in the Associate Degree Nursing program as of April 17, 2017, is currently 94%, with the national average being 84%, according to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.

In spring of 2015, according to the student  nursing program graduate survey, students indicate they are highly satisfied with the education/training received at Nicolet College. On a recent employer survey, 100% of employers indicate they would refer nursing program graduates to other employers and hire a nursing student graduate again.

Nursing Assistant

Learn to assist in the care of patients under the supervision of the nursing staff. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, toileting, assisting with feeding, taking vital signs, ambulating, lifting and moving clients, and performing other select duties.


Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as a member of a health care team. At the completion of the first year, earn a technical diploma and have the option of submitting an application to the State Board of Nursing to take the examination for licensure as a Practical Nurse. Associate’s degree program graduates are eligible to take the Registered Nurse licensing examination.
