If you are a veteran of military service, your next step may be college.
Earn Credit for Your Experience
As a Veteran, you bring real-life experience to your education and it's important to make it count as you move forward with your career.
In your working career you may have gained college-level knowledge and skill that could translate into credits toward your educational program. By requesting a Credit for Prior Learning Assessment, you can demonstrate necessary knowledge and skills to obtain credits.
You can also transfer credits for previous course work from other colleges, technical schools, or universities into your Nicolet program. Stop in or call the Welcome Center at 715-365-4493 for more information.
Connect with Student Veterans
Join the Student Veterans Club to make connections. Throughout the year, the Student Veterans Club hosts events such as Dining with Veterans, veteran discussion panels, and guest speakers to educate and bring together student Veterans and the community. Contact the Student Engagement Coach at 715-365-4566 for more information.
