About Nicolet

Nicolet College is a public community college serving Northern Wisconsin from its campus situated along Lake Julia in Rhinelander, and from outreach centers located within the Nicolet District.
A wide variety of educational opportunities are offered at Nicolet including career diplomas, certificates, one and two-year degrees, university transfer-liberal arts studies, academic success programs, and continuing education courses.
The Nicolet district covers all or parts of six counties with a combined population of about 84,000 residents. Approximately one out of every 12 district residents attends a Nicolet College course annually.
Accreditation
Nicolet has been accredited for more than 30 years by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
