Many professions require a state license or certification for employment in the profession in the state. Educational requirements for the license or certification can vary from state to state. The applicability of the curriculum for the following Nicolet College professional programs for each individual state’s licensure or certification is listed by state in the table below as “Meets,” “Does Not Meet,” or “Not Determined” where no determination has been made.  In the cases where no determination has been made, please contact the Dean of the program for more detailed information and for references on how to determine licensure or certification requirements in that particular state.

Nicolet College has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). As a member of SARA, Nicolet College is committed to providing a high-quality distance education experience. Should concerns or issues arise, current or former students enrolled in distance education programs offered by Nicolet College may submit a concern or complaint form. The College will follow a standardized process to address the issue. The form, along with detailed information about the Complaint/Grievance process, is available on the Nicolet College website.

If the matter is not resolved at the college level, students have the option to file a complaint with Wisconsin's Distance Learning Authorization Board (DLAB). The appeal process is available for Nicolet College’s distance education conducted across state lines, under specific and limitedcircumstances.
