Purpose:
In support of a respectful and supportive learning environment, this policy establishes guidelines for students to address complaints with the College.
Policy:
Nicolet College will make a complaint procedure available to students. Students who believe they have been adversely affected by a College action, decision, condition, or policy are encouraged to raise concerns in accordance with PR 2.27.01, in a timely manner.
Nicolet College prohibits retaliation against any student who, in good faith, files a complaint, participates in a complaint process, or assists in an investigation.
Complaints involving sexual misconduct or discrimination should refer to AP 4.10 and AP 4.13.
Students who are dissatisfied with the College's resolution may file a complaint with appropriate state or accrediting agencies, as applicable. The College will make complaint procedures for such entities available to students.
