Learning in Retirement Offers Upcoming Winter/Spring Classes
The Packers/Bears rivalry and the art of Lambeau Field, How to Make Cake Pops, and the engaging Ced Vig Nature Series are just a few of the broad and eclectic range of offerings available in the upcoming Winter/Spring session of the Learning in Retirement program at Nicolet College.
“Our members come up with the ideas for classes and it never ceases to amaze me what they find and this year is no different,” said Brenda Peltier, Nicolet LIR coordinator. “They really are a creative group and the list of upcoming offerings really demonstrates that.”
Other presentations include a behind-the-scenes look at WXPR Public Radio, a Norway travelogue; Chair Yoga, Weather Forecasting in a Changing Climate, several gallery exhibits presented by ArtStart staff, and many others.
Peltier also noted that offerings will continue to be delivered in a virtual format.
“We’re not at the point yet where we can gather and socialize in person but we know that day is coming,” she said. “Until then, we’ll just continue to adapt and move forward.”
For this year only the LIR has cut its membership fee to $30, which is good until June 30, 2021. A link will be emailed to participants before each class and members can take as many or as few offerings as they like.
