Employer Resources
Below are some helpful resources for employers in our District. You can also connect with our Career Center at jobplacement@nicoletcollege.edu.
Hire Nicolet Students and Graduates
Recruit Nicolet students and graduates using the Handshake online job posting system.
Student Internships
Internships offer employers a cost effective way to recruit qualified applicants for short-term staffing needs and the opportunity to identify individuals who have the potential for long-term employment. Students may earn college credit and gain practical work experience in their areas of study.
On-Campus Interviews
Employers can make arrangements to conduct on-campus job interviews at Nicolet College to recruit job-ready employees. You choose the date and time you want to hold the interview sessions and provide us with the job descriptions for your open positions. We'll advertise the event, recruit students from the appropriate programs, and schedule the interviews for you.
Job Recruitment Fairs
Nicolet's Career Services works each year to provide on-campus recruitment opportunities for employers and students, which may include a general Job Recruitment Fair covering a wide range of program areas, or program-specific Job Recruitment Fairs covering individual programs like Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Health Care Occupations, Manufacturing etc.
Apprenticeship Training
Apprenticeship training involves a unique partnership among employers who offer on-the-job training, apprentices who agree to work for the employers, Nicolet College, and the Department of Workforce Development Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards. Typically, apprentices attend day school for eight hours every other week (72-hours per semester) and receive a normal hourly wage while attending class.
