MyNicolet is Getting an Upgrade – here's what you need to know!
We’re updating MyNicolet, your student portal, to bring everything into one place — course registration, financial aid, degree planning, student billing, and more. These changes will give you a more complete view of your academic progress and help you plan better.
What's Changing and When?

How do I register?
- Register for classes in Self-Service. Click here for a step-by-step guide on registering for classes.

- For other questions on finding your Student ID Number, course registration, or dropping/withdrawing from a class, contact your success coach or call the Welcome Center at 715-365-4493.
What should I know about financial aid?

What should I know about billing and payment plans?

How do I find my Student ID?
- Your Student ID can be found in your MyNicolet Student Portal, under your profile details or in Self-Service. Click here for step-by-step instructions on locating your Student ID number.
- To get your physical Student ID card, visit our Welcome Center on the 2nd Floor of the Red Oak Center.
How do I drop or withdraw from a class?
- If you are looking to drop a course, be sure to connect with your Success Coach first. Dropping a course can affect your financial aid, enrollment status, and could result in a tuition balance. Click here for step-by-step instructions on dropping a course in Self-Service.
- If there is a hold on your student account that prevents registration activity, you will not be able to drop courses through Self-Service. In this case, you must complete and submit the Course Withdrawal Form to proceed.
How do I order textbooks and supplies?
- The Nicolet College Bookstore is currently undergoing system updates, and there have been changes to the textbook ordering process. For step-by-step instructions on how to order, please click here.
- Note that you will need your 7 digit Student ID number to order books (if you are a continuing student, your Student ID number has changed from 9 digits to 7. Click here for more information on locating your new Student ID).
- If you need assistance ordering, please contact the Nicolet College Bookstore by calling 715.365.4443 or stop by in person on the 2nd Floor of the Lakeside Center.
