Student ID Cards

To get your Student ID Card, visit the Welcome Center in the Red Oak Center – Second Floor or call 715.365.4493. You can also stop submit your photo through CloudCard. Go to https://app.onlinephotosubmission.com/#/login to get started. Use your student ID to receive free tickets to Nicolet Live! theatre events (this excludes WXPR concerts), discounted Rouman Cinema movie tickets, and access to college events. Full-time students (12 credits or more) are eligible for membership discounts at the YMCA of the Northwoods.

Business Office

The Business Office is located in the Red Oak Center – Second Floor and can be contacted at 715.365.4458. The Business Office accepts tuition and fee payments, disburses financial aid overage checks, cashes checks, makes change, sends and receives faxes, adds balances to printing accounts, and issues vending refunds.

Tuition Payment

If you register for classes after the class starts, all tuition and fees must be fully paid at registration, unless you have a tuition payment plan in place. Payment plans and full payment options are available through MyNicolet. The Business Office offers third-party payment options and accepts cash, checks, online payments, and credit cards including VISA®, MasterCard®, and Discover®. If you are anticipating financial aid or a third-party arrangement to cover your tuition and fees, you must complete and submit all the necessary financial aid forms by the tuition due date.

Student Employment

Federal Work Study employment is awarded as financial aid and paid out as a paycheck for hours worked every two weeks. Jobs are part-time and available throughout many Nicolet departments, non-profit organizations and local schools through the America Reads program. Contact Financial Aid in the Red Oak Center – Second Floor Welcome Center or call 715.365.4908.

Emergency Student Financial Assistance

We understand that this may be a stressful time with rapidly changing conditions. We would like to remind you that emergency resources are available to help you with unexpected financial hardship such as unemployment and can include assistance for gas cards, automotive repairs, utility bills, childcare, food, and medical expenses. Please complete the Emergency Financial Assistance Application and reach out to your success coach or advisor for more information. A printable version is also available in MyNicolet in the Document Center.

This application is for all the various forms of financial assistance for students at Nicolet College, which include:

  • Student Success, Student Support, and Emergency Assistance Program, which are 100% provided by grants from the federal Carl D. Perkins Act and the Wisconsin Technical College System
  • Nicolet College Foundation through the generosity of its donors
  • Gift cards provided by Student Activity Fees

What else is important to know?

If you are requesting assistance with a bill, please submit a copy with your application.

Funding is not guaranteed. To access some funding sources, students must have a complete and current FAFSA on file with Nicolet.

Students should expect to hear back on Emergency Financial Assistance applications and their next steps within 72 hours. Timelines depend upon the request and if any additional documentation is required.

Nicolet students can ask the Welcome Center for a Northwoods Transit punch card. Visit https://www.northwoodstransit.org/ for Northwoods Transit routes and on demand services.
