Nicolet College Foundation Hosts Second Annual Alumni Giving Week April 15 to 21
As part of its ongoing commitment to alumni engagement, the Nicolet College Foundation announces its second annual Alumni Giving Week from April 15 to 21.
“Our alumni know better than anyone else what a valuable resource Nicolet College is in our community,” said Heather Schallock, vice president of community engagement and executive director of the Nicolet College Foundation.
Since its founding in 1967, over 12,000 individuals have graduated from Nicolet College. Eighty-eight percent of these graduates live and work in Wisconsin and more than 75 percent live and work in the Nicolet College District.
Nicolet College alum Bobbi Schauer is moving back to the Northwoods to begin her career as a nurse practitioner. She remembers how vital the Nicolet College Foundation was to her success.
“I cannot thank the Nicolet College Foundation enough. I never had to worry financially about affording college,” Schauer said.
The Foundation recognizes Superior Diesel for supporting Alumni Giving Week as the Founding Sponsor and thanks Blain’s Farm and Fleet for its support as a Bronze Sponsor.
“We would like to strengthen our relationships with alumni and bolster support for current and future students at Nicolet College,” Schallock said. “There are many ways to give back. Donors can choose to make a gift for scholarships, student emergency assistance, and more. Anyone can give during Alumni Giving Week and Nicolet College alumni are especially encouraged to take advantage of this time to donate.”
