Category

Nicolet College is launching a new online Cybersecurity program designed to prepare students for a thriving career in protecting digital landscapes. With just 16 credits, students can quickly and efficiently start their journey toward becoming a cybersecurity analyst.

“Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing fields, and there is a critical need for skilled professionals,” said Ellen Mathein, dean of business and entrepreneurship. “Our new program not only provides the necessary technical training but also emphasizes real-world application and leadership in the cybersecurity space.”

The new program offers a comprehensive and flexible curriculum that can be completed entirely online, making it accessible to students from anywhere. It will provide students with the skills they will need to tackle cyber threats, safeguard information, and be leaders in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. Additionally, the new Cybersecurity program will prepare students for industry-recognized certifications.

“We designed this program to meet the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals,” said Shannon Beth, information technology instructor at Nicolet College. “Our goal is to provide students with practical, hands-on experience that they can immediately apply in the workforce.”
