Nicolet College will offer a Culinary Career Essentials program this summer at no cost. Our expert chefs will prepare students for entry-level culinary positions. Nicolet College’s comprehensive program is designed to equip students with strong kitchen skills and cooking techniques for successful careers in the food service industry.

The hands-on courses will include food safety, essential kitchen skills, and culinary basics.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in culinary arts, said Vicki Mendham, who teaches culinary arts. "Our program is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge they need to succeed in a professional kitchen.

Classes will be held June 21 – June 28 and July 8 – 26 from 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Upon successful completion of the courses, students will have the opportunity to participate in paid work experiences, spanning 3-4 weeks, starting in August. Students 16-years-old and older are eligible to attend.
