From his first guitar lesson with Sister Mary Elephant in 1963, to his opening for Charlie Pride at the Hodag Country Fest in 1984, Jeff Santy recounts tales of guitars and gigging in the Northwoods. During his thirty years of teaching English at Rhinelander High School, Jeff often played guitar for his students. After his retirement in 2006, he opened Rhinelander’s only school of rock, The TuneSmith Academy. Now Jeff is playing bass guitar with his son in the band Santy And Son With Friends. Join him at Nicolet College and hear his first-hand accounts of his many performances and musical adventures throughout his life.
