A movie star, a stage manager and her ex-fiance walk into a Broadway theatre...what happens next is a fast-paced comedy written by Theresa Rebeck, The Understudy. Join former Chicago actors and Ohio University MFA alums Kat Bramley and Jared Davis in their first Nicolet Players show and welcome back audience favorite Charles Lynch in the role of the charismatic movie star. A missing gun, bickering action stars, a runaway groom, a love triangle, and bananas--this show has all the makings of a truly unforgettable night at the theatre that will leave you howling with laughter.

Regarded as one of the “superb brass ensembles in the USA” by MusicWeb International, praised for “remarkable musicianship and versatility” by International Trumpet Guild Journal, the widely acclaimed Wisconsin Brass Quintet (WBQ) has maintained a position at the forefront of brass chamber music since the group’s founding in 1972. Current members include: Jean Laurenz, trumpet; Gilson da Silva, trumpet; Daniel Grabois; horn; Mark Hetzler, trombone; Tom Curry, tuba; and special guest Matthew Endres, drum set.

Her inspiration from singers such as Lena Horne and Nora Jones gives way to her soaring, lustrous sound that will perfectly infuse your favorite seasonal songs with heartwarming emotion and joy.
