Social Security numbers are used for establishing and identifying student records. A student’s failure to furnish this number may delay processing. Social Security numbers are not disclosed to outside agencies other than that required by the state or federal government. Students using financial aid are required to provide their Social Security number for record reporting with federal, state, and other financial aid processing agencies.
